GAME SUMMARY: Tomahawks dethrone Ice Kings

FOX CREEK, AB

The Northern Alberta Tomahawks started the season on the road against the Fox Creek Ice King with a 9-2 road win!

The Tomahawks got off to a slow start being down 2-0 in the first period, but newcomer Carter Johnson scored his first ever Tomahawk goal to cap the period off down 2-1

The second period saw the Tomahawks score a couple more goals from Enoch’s very own Kyler Morin-Steinhauer and Chance Ward.

To start the third period, returning Tomahawk Riley Arcand opened the scoring, followed by captain Bryant Joseph scored his first of the campaign, followed by Kyler Morin-Steinhauer, Michael Beaverbones X2, and newcomer Curtis Carpenter.

Multiple assists came from Deondre McCarthy, Riley Arcand, Tyrell Shott, Chance Ward, Roman Goodrunning, Michael Beaverbones, and Carter Johnson.

Skyler Di Lallo was in between the pipes for the Tomahawks and posted a .929 save percentage by having allowed 2 goals on 28 shots.

Tyrell Shott was named player of the game.
