GAME SUMMARY: Tomahawks score 11 to win

ENOCH, AB

A new week meant a new set of games this past weekend, The Northern Alberta Tomahawks played the Gibbons Pioneers for the second time this season posting a 11-1 victory. Here's the recap.

1st Period

The Tomahawks put pedal to the metal in the opening frame thanks to Tyrell Shott scoring two goals in the opening minute, assists came from Sazon Goodrunning, Kyler Morin, and Riley Arcand. Riley Arcand would get his 2nd point of the game by scoring a powerplay goal with an assist from Kyler Morin. Michael Beaverbones would add to the scoring with Roman Goodrunning assisting. Ethan Zago of the Gibbons Pioneers would break up the Tomahawks scoring streak scoring the only goal for Gibbons making it 6-1 in just the first period. Newcomer Brennan Rosychuk would score his first GMHL goal with an assist from Tyrell Shott. Riley Arcand would make the game a 8-1 game at the end of the first period. Brennan Rosychuk and Tyrell Shott would assist that goal.

2nd Period

Riley Arcand would score the only goal of the period with assists from Brennan Rosychuk and Tyrell Shott.

3rd Period

Tyrell shott would get his seventh point of the game by opening the scoring in the period with assists from Kyler Morin and Deondre McCarthy. Riley Arcand would collect the Tomahawks 11 goal, and his fifth point with assists from Kyler Morin and Tyrell Shott.

Alexis Alexander made 15 saves on 16 shots for a .928%
