GAME SUMMARY: Tomahawks take 3-0 season series lead in overtime.

The Northern Alberta Tomahawks faced off against the Edson Eagle for the third time this season, taking a 7-6 overtime win, here's the recap.
1st Period
The Tomahawks are no strangers to scoring first in the opening frame, Thanks to Captain Bryant Joseph, the Tomahawks scored first for the 4th consecutive game, Bryant's goal was assisted by Kyler Morin and Tyrell Shott. Bryant would score again on a penalty shot making it 2-0 with assists from Kyler Morin and Tyrell Shott. Curtis Carpenter made it 3-0 scoring unassisted on the powerplay.
2nd Period
Edson opened the scoring with 2 powerplay goals thanks to Alex Kronewitt and Tyson Mitchell, assists came from Isaiah Piwas and Jaesa Monnias, as well as Griffen Norton-Tibbs. Chase Desnomie tied the game at 3 a piece with assists from Bryton Wilkinson. Tyrell Shott regained the Tomahawk lead with the assist coming from Sazon Goodrunning. Edson Powerplay tying goal came from Bryton Wilkinson with assists from Alex Kronewitt and Isaiah Piwas.
3rd Period
The Tomahawks scored early in the frame with a goal coming from Deondre McCarthy with was unassisted. Isaiah Trottier followed up a couple minutes after making it 6-4 with an assist from Curtis Campbell. Edson scored their fifth goal coming from Bryton Wilkinson assisted from Tyson Mitchell. Griffen Norton-Tibbs tied the game unassisted.
OVERTIME
Edson's Trevor Peeace was called for slashing during the OT period, which ended up being their undoing as Riley Arcand would be the game hero scoring in overtime, on the powerplay unassisted.
GOALIES
Skyler Di Lallo played the full game facing 53 shots, making 47 saves giving up 6 goals for a save percentage .887%. Skyler was also named the games' first star of the game.
