GAME SUMMARY: Tonini stands tall while Tomahawks win!

The Northern Alberta Tomahawks made history with the Fox Creek Ice Kings tonight! Amelie Tonini makes her debut and gets her first GMHL win!
Summary is as follows:
1st Period
Carter Johnson opened the period scoring his fourth GMHL career goal with assists from Michael Beaverbones and Parker Oliver, Bryant Joseph followed soon after putting the hawks up 2-0 over fox with assists from Kyler Morin and Isiah Trottier! Elie stood tall but gave up one late in the first period to Darian Alook
2nd Period
Harrison Potts (former Tomahawk) tied the game early in the period, Michael Beaverbones responded in kind putting the Tomahawks ahead 3-2 with an assist from Carter Johnson! Later in the period Tyrell Shott continued the scoring with assists from Bryant Joseph and Parker Oliver for a 4-2 lead. Fox Creek would again end the period by scoring again from Dominic Beaver.
3rd Period
The Tomahawks got off to a quick start with goals from Tyrell Shott and Riley Arcand, Kyler Morin would assist both goals and Bryant assisted the first goal with Kyler. Bryant Joseph would score a few minutes on the powerplay with assists from Michael Beaverbones and Kyler Morin. Carter Johnson would continue with an assist from Sazon Goodrunning. Fox Creek Dominic Beaver would break the Tomahawk scoring streak at 12:56 in the game. Kyler Morin collected his fifth point in the game scoring with an assist from Tyrell Shott and Bryant Joseph. Beaverbones ended the scoring with assists from Sazon Goodrunning and Carter Johnson.
Amelie Tonini faced 29 shots, made 25 saves for a save percentage of .862% and her first GMHL win.
